I also want to know if theres a guide to build a sensor bar, as its just two infrared leds at a certain distance. Are there different version of Wiimotes, and which one of them is known to work with dolphin and MacOS.Keep in mind while on Windows you can use the cursor as the IR pointer but that option is not available on Mac, so youll have to getbuild a wireless sensor bar.
Heres a guide. It requires some soldering, 4 IR LEDs, a battery pack and a perfboard. Ill try to build a sensor bar or get a wireless one, so I can test the IR capabilities of the wiimote (07-25-2011, 08:21 AM) ZeD X Wrote: I have tried to use the Wiimote on Mac but with no success. It connects (no buttons response), but after a few seconds it disconnects. How can I find out it did vibrate when it paired up with the mac. The control gets recognized as Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 PS: Any idea if the wired sensor bar can be modified to use batteries Because I can get one really cheap ZeD X Wrote: Nice What is your OS version Your Wiiremote have built in Motion Plus. Youd have to cut the wire and use a multimeter to see what kind of voltage the Wii is giving the sensor bar. Unfortunately, Im not willing to cut mine, so that task is up to you. The Wiiremote with Motion Plus has it written in the controller. Actually I bough a cheap one (like 5) that comes to be used with 2xAAA and I changed it to work with USB power. The only problem I getting is with the Wiiremote the works on Dolphin.
